LEGAL ASSISTANT/PARALEGAL
Job Description:
Established law firm, Rider & Quesenberry, is seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented legal assistant/paralegal to play an important part in our legal team. You will take direction from one or more attorneys, draft documents, maintain deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner, behave ethically, bill time accurately, manage attorney calendars, and interact with clients and the public in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- Work on an array of legal issues with an emphasis on business transactions, real estate, and estate planning.
- Responsible for maintaining the client’s digital record.
- Some office management duties required
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office
- Three years of professional employment or a bachelor’s degree. Preference given to those with at least 3 years of paralegal experience.
- Experience reading and drafting legal documents.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
Generally, this is not a work-from-home position. You must be able to work in our office on a full-time schedule. However, some flexibility may be available after adequate trial period. Please submit a resume and cover letter explaining your background and why you’re interested in our firm.

LITIGATION ATTORNEY
RIDER & QUESENBERRY, LLC, a general practice firm located in Grand Junction, CO, is seeking an experienced attorney with excellent courtroom skills to join our Civil Litigation law team.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Colorado Bar in Good Standing.
- The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 2-5 years of successful experience representing Civil Litigation clients.
- Excellent writing, advocacy skills, research, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients in a variety of Civil Litigation matters primarily related to business, real estate, and construction matters.
- Draft court pleadings, legal memos, and correspondence.
- Draft written discovery requests and responses.
- Conduct legal research.
- Effectively communicate with clients to execute strategic plans and manage client expectations.
