Alex Yorko

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Alex worked as a proofreader for an ad agency before attending NIU College of Law. During law school, he was a Lead Articles Editor for his school’s law review, placed second in his school’s moot court competition and won best written brief. Alex was a member of his school’s moot court board, participated in a national moot court competition, was a research assistant, and participated in mock trial.

After completing law school, Alex accepted a position with the Colorado Public Defender’s office in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he gained experience representing clients in jury trials and other contested hearings. After he left the public defender’s office, he practiced civil litigation for a plaintiff’s firm in Grand Junction. Alex joined Rider & Quesenberry, LLC in August, 2021.

When not practicing law, Alex is likely to be found running, biking, swimming, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and dog.
